Skidmarkz is a family business based in Queensland Australia.
Annie & Bazza Mangan first started designing and producing their Hot Rod shirts in NZ back in 1989, after many years in the graphics industry. This went on to become a full-time business, and ‘Skidmarkz’ was officially launched in Australia in 1998. Skidmarkz was named to incorporate the nature of hot rodding and as a tribute to their son Mark – also a keen Hot rodder – who passed away in 1993. The name has provided much amusement over the years, and seems to ‘stick’ in people's minds.
Having screen-printed for Annie & Bazza for many years, their daughter Lisa and her partner Kris Gunn took over day-to-day operations of Skidmarkz after their dear Annie passed away in 2006.
Bazza (Olf’ Art), Skidmarkz’ talented Artist, has been a keen Hot Rod enthusiast since the late 1950s. He attended signwriting classes and art courses in Auckland NZ (Sedon Technical College) and Oil painting classes at Manley College, Sydney, during the ‘60s & early ‘70s.
He has been painting and drawing ever since, so has had PLENTY of experience! His Grandsons have taken a keen interest too. Just a few of Bazza's past rides (and a couple of Skidmarkz current projects) can be seen in the car gallery.
The Team at Skidmarkz are very thankful for the support and loyalty of their customers over the years (many of whom have become great friends). They also welcome new customers, and would love the opportunity to earn their trust and deliver the best possible service in the industry.
